Two things I want to say for the New Year 2010...
1)ALL pet food still has trace amounts of melamine in it...If you are wondering why your pet is sick, peeing inappropriately, acting too aggressive, it is because of the food...It doesn't matter if it says organic, or prescribed by your vet, it still has melamine in it-nor does it matter if it was not recalled...Switch your pet to human food for a couple of days. Chicken breast is fine...You will see the symptoms clear up...
2)The heavy metals in vehicle exhaust, cars, boats, planes, cause deafness (lead), dumbness (mercury) loss of sense of smell (aluminum) not to mention ADHD personality disorder (deleting chunks of information while talking), Autism (severe communication trouble), Multiple sclerosis (disintegration of connecting fibers), throat cancers, leukemia from the water...The top 3 things to detoxify from heavy metals are ginkgo biloba, periwinkle, butcher's broom - use all 3 together & add some B vitamins to the mix...Also, try not to drive, fly or boat- let's make 2010 a cleaner place...

The painting above is called "Grove" & is 24 x 36 x 1-3/4 inches walnut oils with a knife on linen on oil pastels sketch with oil primer & sustainable basswood stretcher bars...no turpentines. no rabbit skin glue. no animal hair brushes. Original sketch is from our backyard garden around Hallowe'en 2009...(& the memory of patting two RCMP horses this summer, superimposed upon the real landscape- a double entendre, trompe d'oeuil, or subliminal message- something like:" Horse wants gardens in the city to rest his hooves in between patrolling". (particularily garden which used to exist triangulated by Yonge street Scollard street & Davenport road.)
